Hotel was very clean that lovely bleach smell endearing me to well maintained cleanliness. Staff were extremely helpful, especially at reception.

The hotel was clean, and everything was as expected from the pictures. The location is a plus, very close to Soho and Noho, very accessible to train stations and also there are a lot of options to grab a bite or a drink nearby. The only thing is that the price for this specific time of the year is way too high for what you are actually getting. But everything was clean and proper, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was very clean. Location is great! Bathroom space is a little tight for getting ready. The only drawback to this hotel is that there is no room key. Everytime you leave and would like access to your room again you must ask the front desk to open the door.

This a clean facility in a location easy to get uptown for museums and theater. Walking is easy in soHo and the Bowery. In my 4 day stay the coffee in the common area was not consistently available. Like so many small hotels in NYC there was no ice available. The room was never cleaned in the four days

Nice hotel, decent price, excellent location near metro and some NY emblematic restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. No complaints at all. Next time in NY I will stay in this hotel for sure

This was a great place to stay. Justin made the stay even more welcoming. Everything was clean and presentable and the rooms are good for two. If you want to explore all day - this is the place! Also very safe. Good pizza next door!

The property itself was fine, other than being a bit noisy and the front door had stairs to the lobby with no elevator (luggage was a problem). My only other complaint was that when I arrived to check in, I had to wait 25 minutes because the front desk attendant was gone. He “ran to the store to pick something up” I probably wouldn’t stay here again, simply because it’s just not worth the price they charge.

The hotel could be better maintained, the room phone wasn’t even connected to call front desk. Bathroom tub and fixtures are old and outdated . Bathroom itself needs to update . The blind in my room was not able to open fully . Ac is very noisy

Room was slightly larger than a prison cell. No hot water to speak of. Keycard machine broken so we had to ask staff to let us into our room every time we returned. Will Not be going back.

I’ve stayed here a few times over the years and it’s a brilliant location! Bathrooms need an upgrade but it’s clean and does the job if it’s just for you sleeping and getting a wash!

Expedia reviews lie. You don’t get a key to your room the front desk has to escort you every time you want to get into room and sometimes you have to wait because no one is there to escort you and then people start lining up to get to their rooms and before you know it now everyone knows your room number and knows you don’t have your own key to it. Felt unsafe and overall do not recommend.

They charge you an 18 dollar amenity fee on check in which was not mentioned on booking. The fee covers wifi, coffee, and a bottle of water in the room. Personally believe these should just be included with your nightly fee and seems a little slimy to add it to the bill on check in.

The staff was really helpful yet apparently they had been having an issue with the keycard system so we didn’t get any cards. The staff had to keep letting us into the room everytime we came back. That just kinda was not what we were expecting. Also there was an issue with the water because the hot water was labeled cold (and visa versa).

None of the rooms in the hotel had working card keys. There was no working hot water in the room, the shower/bath tap did not work and was in fact completely off the fixture (see photo). The room safe was also not working. The room had poor sound insulation from cars and pedestrians from the side street and sounds from the street could be heard all night disrupting sleep. Staff member at reception Marcella was helpful, but the other staff member was unfortunately quite rude and unhelpful when help was needed to access my room (since no card keys in the hotel worked) in the evening.
