"Lovely well maintained modern rooms with sparkling bathroom and plenty of hot water for great shower. Nice to see eco facilities. Breakfast and dinner were superb and akin to gastro pub quality and generously portioned. We wouldn’t hesitate to return next time we visit family in the area. A customer from the pub immediately offered to help with luggage showing really good connection between local customers and the staff
Rooms to a very high standard - no aircon but a fan was made available on request
Comfortable bed
Car park fairly small but ok
Great selection of local beers all properly cellared
Unfortunate hiccup at breakfast as gas failed - staff did well to provide an acceptable breakfast in the circumstances
We would definitely stay again"
