The place is value for money just a place to crash and not hang around. Definitely the carpet in the hallway needs an upgrade. Cleanliness in the room esp the floors need a much thorough clean since it is dusty when we got there. Privacy wise it is a good place to stay safe and not so far fr the main city.

My boyfriend and i think this place is a sex hostel. Comfortable room and nice reno. However, i had stayed at hotel previously and had no issues. Wanted a cheap hotel. But this visit was hell. Walked in and some random guy was sitting in the only 1 of 2 chairs. I had my bag and i couldnt sit in tje other one because he had trash in the other one. When told the staff, he rolled his eyes. Then i came an hour early and they stated no. I went to walmart and came back at 315 for 330 checkin an

The people at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Also the surrounding area was very easy to access and in a short walking distance. The room was small, but clean. Definitely worth and honestly better that what I paid for.

Convenient location....not much else good to say. Tub was clearly not cleaned. Hallway smoke alarms chirped all night. Overbooked for the amount of parking spaces. A place to crash at best.

Friendly staff. The TV and how to use remote was not apparent. Help was provided. Breakfast - oh so continental - muffin and coffee Unfortunately, had noise "neighbor" - management did advise them to stop and it worked.

Our non smoking room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the hallways smelled of pot. The room was clean but everything was otherwise old and in bad condition. The bedding was pretty uncomfortable as well. The comforter was thin and the pillows were uneven and a bit hard. We really only needed a place to sleep in Newport since we had an early morning race and just needed to be in the area. However I don’t think we’d ever stay here again. The one plus was the 2 staff members I dealt with were very polite and friendly.

Clean, however warn off by the time. Motel placed conveniently by the rd, but on the quiet side. NO Bed bugs - worth the money. Coffee in the morning is in the main lobby. The Walmart next to it is standard minimal Walmart w/o fresh fruit section.

It's OK...

Fairly clean, except dead bugs on ceilings. Service was friendly. Downstairs had a heavy mildew smell; I had to switch to 2cd floor, which was a smoking floor. Hotel appears to disable the keys each day. Overall, OK, but worn.

Old, broken, and brown water

The door could not be opened with the electronic key, only by a physical master key, so guests were not free to come and go, which was bizarre. This happened because a fuse blew earlier in the day, but that’s still unacceptable—rewire the hotel so that doesn’t happen, and have an electrician on call. The tub water ran very brown. The room was generally clean, maybe some hairs left around, but trash taken out and not filthy. There’s enough parking. There was one person working and a lot of people checking in and the key issue and various other issues so the service was slow.

Bedroom linens although clean were paper thin. The beds were no more than a thin mattress over a double cot. One reading light over bed was out. Limited selection of TV stations. The tub shower faucet fixture is loose and ready to come off with more use. The property is in a good location but very, very, dated. It has great potential with an investment by the owners. The current room rates speak for themselves. One pays for what they get. In the property's present state, the room rates should be lower. Staff very friendly!

Oh Motel 6…sigh… while I know this chain to be a budget hotel this location was number 2 on worst hotel stays ever. The one grace was that the staff was very friendly and the AC in the room worked otherwise everything else was pretty gross and unsettling. First the entire hotel smells like an old ash tray. The smell is in everything. I used some peppermint oil to try and survive the night and save my nose from the stench. Secondly I was greeted by two live cockroaches in the bathroom which just gives you the creeps. There was hair in the bathtub as well. The door had a pretty good gap under it so you heard every person and their conversation on the floor. It looked like the lock had been at some point kicked in and repaired haphazardly. The only light in the room was a single overhead light with a switch by the door. The two spaces for lights on the walls were missing lights. There was a tv, but no remote. Unless desperate I would go anywhere else.
