Overall a nice stay. Good location. But we had to ask for toilet paper, the phone didn’t work, sage was broken, and a/c was not strong and the shower leaked constantly. We did ask the front desk to fix the problems and only one was addressed.

Property was clean, great vibe, cute room, nice pool. I stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hotel very much. Staff was extremely helpful, quick to resolve any issues. (The safe was not working. Housekeeping notified Maintenance and the issue was resolved within 20 minutes. Also needed a microwave, and staff brought one to my room within 10 minutes.) The pool area was very clean, with plenty of lounge chairs, towels, attendants for the drink and snack bar. Great atmosphere. I went to the pool a few times and enjoyed it. I had a burger with fries in the dining room. It was delicious. Also had a quick muffin and coffee. Both were great, but the coffee cake muffin was to die for. Would definitely go back.

It was all very clean it is a bit outside the beautiful Newport but still doable the Pool Area is nice but the wifi was down Most of the Time and the bikes are not in best condition but it is still great they have them Overall I would recommend

A solid 3.5 star hotel. The hotel can be cleaner. Our floor in the room was dirty. Not sure if it gets cleaned. The staff are very attentive and kind. I think they’re doing the best they can. The walls of hotel are made of paper. We heard everything and everyone. Stayed on the 3rd floor and had some psychotic people above us. Had to complain of noise at midnight. Never ever had to do that in all the years of going to a hotel. We had breakfast at the hotel and staff was sooo frazzled. Like they couldn’t handle more than 1 table. Food was ok. Tiny tiny coffee cups so you are constantly waiting on a refill. A big no for me. Our room looked out to the back of the hotel. There was a lot of noise because it was also their unloading dock. A big thank you to Lisa at hotel for helping us with getting a premium queen. Lisa was so kind and just awesome. And like I mentioned, staff are kind and attentive.

We really enjoyed our stay overall — the hotel facilities were quite good, and our whole family liked the design and general atmosphere. However, the one major downside was the poor sound insulation. Unfortunately, we were assigned a room on the ground floor, right below another guest room. The noise from upstairs was quite loud and disruptive, especially at night, and it really affected our sleep over several days. On top of that, our room was located directly across from a busy hallway entrance, so we could constantly hear people coming and going, which made it hard to rest. I did ask the front desk if we could switch rooms, but was told the hotel was fully booked. That was disappointing, but we understand it may have been a busy period. Aside from the noise issue, we had a pleasant experience and appreciated many aspects of the hotel.

I loved the decor, "vintage surfy, there were nice touches and accents throughout the room and the hotel and I loved the layout of the room! It was roomy, bright and nicely appointed. We had a King Parlor Suite and enjoyed the living room area with a kitchenette and the other area had a king sized bed with the small table for eating or could be used for working. The staff was very responsive, friendly and were able to help out when we had questions or requests. We had issues with the coffee maker and they gave us a new one. The housekeeping services could have cleaned the floors a bit better and filled up the coffee and creamers but overall they cleaned the room every time we requested it. The gym facilities were amazing and we were able to work out and feel comfortable using the gym and the equipment. The gym was well maintained. The Little Clam had few offerings, that were quite expensive as the menu was mostly a la carte and the price added up quickly just for breakfast for three people it was $98. There was a pool bar/cafe that was very nice to be able to get drinks by the pool. The pool area had nice touches, umbrellas and comfortable chairs and tables.

There were a few wrinkles in checking in but overall this was a great place. Staff was super professional and friendly and helpful! Very conveniently located.

I highly recommend this property. It is off the beaten path, 10 mins outside of Newport proper, but that worked for us. Plenty of free self parking. Everything is "new". Interior design is funky Newport--organic surfer meets 50's post-modern, Brooklyn aesthetic. Very well done. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The restaurant just opened this season and while just getting up to speed, had great quality and choices. The staff there was also excellent. I would definitely stay at this property again.

I can’t say anything terrible about this hotel, but I can’t say there was anything particularly impressive. Some of the staff was really nice and one that seemed cranky and the rest just seemed indifferent. We checked in on a Thursday. We reserved the king parlor sweet. The room was bright and spacious and the decor was pretty and modern. The bed was very comfortable. My only real issue with the room was that there was not a coffee maker only espresso and that there was no way to really unpack your belongings. We were 2 women with 4 hangers and no chest of drawers. I don’t enjoy living out of my luggage, especially as our stay was 5 nights. We checked out today and the elevator was not working so we had to make a couple of trips down the stairs to bring our bags down. I’m not saying that’s the end of the world. I don’t think they can help that, but the attitude of the woman at the desk was just annoyed instead of apologetic. Actually the only person to apologize about it was July the gentleman who seems to run the cafe. He was always nice and seemed to be the hardest worker. So basically I don’t regret the stay at all, however when I visit Rhode Island again I will try another place.

Not super fancy but very clean and coastal. Staff was friendly. Good coffee spot in the lobby for mornings. Pool isn't the greatest but would keep kiddos happy/burn off energy if you arent feeling a beach day. Not really walking distance to anything but central to most activites, ie. Cliff Walk, Mansions, Thames st.

I didn’t like when you left they hit you with a $25 plus tax for every day that you stay there and I didn’t like that that was not enough lighting in the room and there was no refrigerator

The location is very convenience to get to the Naval OCS school. Property is dated can be uplifted. Elevator looks dirty can be cleaned daily. Room is clean.

This is a pretty dated facility in need of some room upgrades. It was clear the lobby and cafe have undergone somewhat recent renovation, but our room had stained carpeting, stained bathroom tile, old and dingy plumbing fixtures. The entry door was beat up and not sealed, so sound from the corridor came into the room. The bed was comfortable but the furnishings reminded of IKEA. Dark corridors, low ceilings, only a single (and very slow) elevator. The staff was very friendly, but this is a 3-star hotel at 4+ star price. Really surprised they can command the high price they do, even for peak summer.
