"Awesome location and a beautiful hotel. The rooms are large, well-appointed, and very relaxing. I think this is one of the best parts of Brisbane, and everything is pretty close by. "Hotel is in good location. Front rooms facing Brunswick St are a little noisy. Paid extra for a balcony room which was a mistake. It was on the first floor with a pretty grim outlook. Room also seemed to smell a bit which may have been from previous guests smoking on the balcony. Otherwise the hotel was okay."

"Friendly welcome, Comfortable hotel with excellent river views and in an excellent location - walk easily to anywhere in CBD, catch the river cat or only 10 mins to Fortitude Valley or Central Sations. "Excellent location and across the road from Central Station. Perfectly good room. Only access to the lobby is up approx 8 steps which is difficult with a heavy suitcase. There is a small platform stairlift for wheelchair access but certainly not a very accessible place as you require to ask reception to use the stair lift. It is a heritage building hence steps up from street. All level once you are inside. I would stay here again but not if I was requiring a wheelchair or struggled with...

"We booked and paid extra for 1 child with 2 adults. We booked a King bed. What we got was no pull out bed for our child and two single beds jammed together disguised as a King bed. The beds equated to roughly 185cm by 172cm which is well short of Australian standards of what a king bed is. We paid an extra $70-$80 for our child to stay with us. With no pull out bed, she was left to sleep on the couch and eventually moved to the floor which was uncomfortable. No bed sheets or extra towel was...
