"This please was incredible!!! The food, the staff, the property, the entertainment was all top notch. We never did any of the restaurants because we had kids and didn’t want to wait in line so can say that the buffet has amazing food and soooo many options to choose from. There was always chairs to sit around the pool. The staff who do the entertainment were super fun and engaging. The wait staff especially Christopher were amazing at drinking you drinks either on the beach or around the pool!!! The rooms were made up everyday and stocked the mini fridge. Everyone was so friendly and helpful this was probably the nicest resort we have been to. 5 plus stars!!! Would go back tomorrow if I could"

"We had an amazing week at the W…really exceeded all our expectations! The property was gorgeous with amazing views and a very nice, spacious beach. The room was great, especially the rainfall shower heads! The vibe of the was a perfect mix of chill and upbeat. But a huge shoutout to the staff which were amazing. They not only always asked our name, but they would remember it the next time they would see you. Housecleaning service was great and we appreciated the little touches. We are already planning to be back for the next special occasion."

"The rooms were clean, staff hard working and genuinely wanted to make us happy. We decided to upgrade to an ocean front room and were charged $35 US a night for this. Not sure it was worth this cost.Special thanks to Claudio, Jean Paul, Carlos and all of the entertainment staff. The evening shows were energetic, very well choreographed with alot of talent. Food was good, we enjoyed the Japanese restaurant very much. So many wonderful restaurants in Tamarindo its worth paying for a few good meals out (Antichi Sapori, Eanas, Dragonfly and Fish and Cheeses are some of our faves!). Spent hours watching the surfers on the beach...so impressive. With the surf, the beach is not great for swimming but morning walks are wonderful. And the pool is great."

"Our stay at the Hotel was fantastic. The weather was great, the staff amazing, and the property immaculate. Our first time to Costa Rica, and we took advantage of the beach access at the resort. We went with friends, and the ladies enjoyed the snorkeling right from the beach area. The restaurants were good. Our favorite was the Oriental. By day three, the staff reconized us, went out of the way to treat us well, such as having coffee poured and ready for us by the time we sat at our table for breakfast each day. The bar service was good. I do miss having poolside service. Our room was comfortable. In building number 1, which was central to everywhere. At anytime, you could have the shuttle take you anywhere on the resort. I must call out a few staff for being excellent to our group. Thomas (The Omelette guru) was charming, and very engaging. He'd hi-5 us every day. Jill, Kimberly, and Noesti (sp?) always smiled, and made us feel like royalty. Finally, a big thank-you to Sandra at the reservations desk, she was so friendly, kind, and accomodating. Even on short notice when a member of our group had to cancel. Our only small complaint was with housekeeping, and it may been more of a communication mixup, but we had a couple of days, where there was nothing done to our room, despite asking them (in person) to do so. Carlos, David, and the wonderful Henrique (Manager) made our dinners so memorable. We are already discussing booking for next January. Cheers!"
