"My husband and 2 year old and I enjoyed our first time stay at this hotel! The location was great! (About a 10 minute walk to the beach and playground and super close to the downtown shops and restaurants). It is dated, you can tell its been around for a while and it shows in the building and hallways, it isnt a new & fancy hotel, but our room was clean, the staff were great, the complimentary breakfast was nice (muffins, bagels, cereal, coffee, juice, and there were breakfast sandwiches you can heat up in the microwave) and the location was just what we wanted. We are looking forward to our next visit here in the future! :)"

"I would have given a five star except for one thing. Housekeeping does not service your room even on a four night stay. You must empty your own trash and place it in the hall. If you want clean towels you must request them. If you want coffee for the coffee maker in your room, you must request that. I would not expect a complete cleaning and saving water by reusing towels is not heard of, but when you are staying at this level of hotel you expect a little pampering."

"This was the perfect place for a quick 2 night mini-honeymoon after our wedding. The grounds and River House were beautifully kept. We rented a little EV cart to explore and it was the best decision, we really loved roaming around through the woods and taking in the beautiful scenery. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, the staff was very kind and helpful. My only wish is that there were options onsite for dinner and drinks at the cute little bar, but I understand the demand is likely not high enough for a Sunday/Monday evening stay, so it makes sense. Highly recommend the Morris Estate, would love to come back and stay with a few other couples!"

"The overall experience was pleasant — the room was spacious, bed comfortable, and I enjoyed the balcony with the view of the water. I didn't drive, so the location is a little bit inconvenient; although they have a shuttle bus that goes into town. I had a dinner at the restaurant one evening which was ok; the cocktail was tasty."
