"My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel de Cambis, conveniently located near the Avignon Central station. The hotel was also very close to shopping, restaurants and about a 5-10 minute walk from the main beautiful square. We received an upgrade when we arrived and were grateful to the staff and hotel. They were very accommodating, spoke great English and offered good tips/recommendations for the town. We stayed here for a nearby wedding and our room was very spacious and offered nice closets...

"Beautiful old hotel with an amazing history of guest including Napoleon.
Maintained to a high standard. Nice breakfast and even better evening meal in the main restaurant. You need to book dinner as they do not have many tables.
The staff were amazingly helpful and polite. A great stay and perfect location for site seeing the Avignon."

"A great location, just a few minutes walk from the station, with all the restaurants and sites within easy walking distance, yet it is quiet and peaceful. The room was spacious with a really comfortable bed, nice bed linen and high ceilings. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, whilst others let the team down (e.g. not clearing tables to make space at breakfast) The hotel would benefit from having a bar and the QR code system for ordering drinks is slow - we waited 45 minutes for a...

"The best thing about this hotel is it's easy proximity to the main sites of old Avignon. It is also a short level 10-minute walk from the railway station. However, the hotel looks run down. It's in need of a refreshing paint job. The rooms have very odd decor. And the need to put a QR code on your phone in order to access the room and the hotel. After 8:30 I found very annoying and it didn't work half the time. I was always concerned that I might get locked out of the hotel,"

"The breakfast was the best thing about this hotel. The location was good, with easy access to local transit and a grocery store right next door. We could hear the traffic, especially sirens throughout the night. The picture of the hotel on the Expedia site is not accurate at all, and we were somewhat disappointed in that. We were also slightly disappointed in the room itself. The kitchen was typical and useable, but most of the things we wanted to use were stored too high out of our reach. And...
