"Everything was great! The furniture was outdated but we didn't mind. In general, the whole place has the aura of days gone by, so fussy modernists may complain. My only true complaint was that the curtains were not room darkening. When we arrived, the bathroom was missing hand soap and shampoo, but someone brought them up to us immediately. Great service! Breakfast was fine, similar to a Quality Inn."

"Upon checking in we were disappointed. It certainly doesn’t match the pictures. The “hotel” is tired and dingy. We were not aware there was no elevator and didn’t appreciate having to carry our own bags up very narrow stairs. The room was again, dingy and tired. The bathroom was clean, if lacking. It is very small with no counter area and the window didn’t open. The bedroom area carpet was dirty and rippled and a real trip hazard. We were afraid to use the air conditioner due to its condition...
