"This place looks like it was just remodeled and everything was clean and new and well done. I upgraded to the 2nd floor view room and it was great. Perfect location because I walked to everything. Right next to the path by the ocean, view of all the boats, walked to fish and chips, brewery and checked out all the sea lions barking at each other. The coffee shop in the lobby was stylish and the pastries and coffee was perfect. This is my new spot when I’m in Westport. "

"Negatives: Our room was dingy, outdated, and not cleaned as expected. The doorknob/door didn’t work right and there were almost no plug-ins in the room. The pool/hot tub area was outdated (lots of rust) and had a very strong chlorine smell. Every time we went to the pool there were no towels. It could be hard to get help as staff weren’t regularly at the front desk. Mini-golf was dilapidated and best for very young children. "Great stay for the price! Old beach smell, but property has been updated with newer flooring, paint, furniture and bathroom is nice. We rented cabin 12, it is the last on one in the row. The cabins are out by the road and then a nice paved road (pretty short walk) and the main hotel is a short walk to the beach. The pillows weren’t bad and the bed was very comfortable. "Don't let the outside looks fool you! Inside is super nice and clean. Mattress is firm and have enough extra blankets. "

"Breakfast had a nice variety but nothing was hot. Room had a “sofa bed” that we needed to use but it did not fold out to a bed so I ended up sleeping on a couch instead of a bed. Several of us tried to figure it out but didn’t see how it classified as a sofa Bed. Staff were pleasant and helpful"

"We had a great stay in the cabin. The hot water was a little scarce, but it was ok. The mattresses on the bunk beds could be thicker. Fine for kids. Adults not so much. Moved to the futon and it was fine. Bathroom lighting could be better. All in all, we enjoyed it and had a great time! The cabin was clean and the yard outside also. Well equipped kitchen. We'll be back!"
