"I have to leave a review as I was so impressed here. From first moment I was welcomed by Sue in reception, to the moment I checked out.
I loved the room, the ladies at breakfast, the efficient bar staff, the food, the room service, the pool, it was all just as a hotel should be.
I made a mistake with my booking and had inadvertently booked one night instead of the intended two, but Michelle phoned me and we sorted it out.
The hotel and facilities are great, but the staff are *all*...

"We are regular guests and although the comfort of the mattresses vary from room to room and no one would disagree the shower valves are past their prime, everything else is great and we love the grand setting, quirky building, friendly and helpful staff, and the excellent breakfasts."

"Enjoyed the stay but it was noisy trying to get to sleep in the cottage room and I’m curious as to why there were only 9 loungers in the spa but there are 60 bedrooms ? I had to sit on a chair .. not really the spa experience I was looking for.
Also another gripe of mine is no full length mirrors in bedrooms ? And no table near a mirror to sit and dry hair and do makeup ? It’s the little things that make all the difference."
