"Property is beautiful, well maintained. It is also a wedding venue. We were there during the week just before wedding season started. Owner present and very friendly and helpful with all needs. We ere there for 2 breakfasts which were both good but would have been happier if they werent both syrup types. If one was egg based Like quiche it would have been nice. Place convenient to small town, quaint. Room was small but attached to porch which was delightful. Would definitely recommend."

"I have stayed at 100’s of hotels and never written a review. This was the worst day I’ve ever had any hotel. We had a wedding in the area and got back at midnight. Starting at 5 AM the amount of noise, banging, clashing, and dragging on the floor above us was incredible. I called the front desk at 5:15 AM to find out what was going on and they told me that my room was underneath the kitchen and eating area. I was in room 112. The noise continued until almost 11 AM checkout. ...

"Host seemed annoyed that we reserved through Expedia. There were only two couples staying in the place and she stuck us both upstairs next to each other. We asked if another room was available but she said that because we reserved through Expedia she couldn’t switch our room. Didn’t make much sense. The place has a lot of character, but we wish the owner was more friendly/welcoming. Also, food was mediocre. It has been much better in past visits here. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cornish Inn. The location was perfect (we were visiting friends in the area), the price was reasonable, the staff and facilities were excellent (we particularly appreciated having the quality restaurant in the inn and had both our dinner & breakfast there). The one thing we noticed that made our review good rather than excellent was that the road noise outside our room windows was quite loud until after midnight and started up again pretty early - around...
