"Our bedroom was dated and a little tired.
Barely a dribble came out the shower making it challenging to rinse shampoo out of your hair for example. There was no toothbrush holder. The full length mirror in the room was placed awkwardly at the side of one of the beds making it difficult to stand in front of. "The welcome at reception was virtually non existent. Our stay started on a low.
Some corridor areas were untidy, dirty cloth left on the floor for most of the day. Our room was good, clean and comfortable. The TV tuning was set to the 1970s which meant we couldn't access many channels. Would have liked water and a couple of glasses in the room and more milk pods.
The staff in the restaurant were efficient and friendly and food delicious. Breakfast was great."

"This was a beautiful property. Unfortunately we arrived very late and didn’t get to spend any daylight hours enjoying to grounds so it was a bit of a waste to us. The restaurant was closed which we were not aware of when we booked. Lovely place if you are planning to use the grounds and enjoy the property ."
