"Room had a beautiful full kitchen. Quiet cute little cottage style rooms that are modernized. Staff was helpful. On a busy road so a little difficult to get in and out of the property at times."

"Room was severely slanted, smelled and our sliding door to get fresh air was missing a screen. Staff just said oh well that room doesn't have one even though the rest do, that's just the way it is. I feel every time I use Expedia to book rooms with hotels and not go direct they give me there least desirable room."

"If it wasn’t for the location this hotel would be getting a lower rating. The property is very outdated (1980’s furniture & appliances are very worn and outdated in room). The staff was not very friendly. We were put in an ADA room, even though we did not book an ADA room. This room was poorly renovated into an ADA room with grab bars installed so awkwardly in the restroom that we couldn’t even sit comfortably on the toilet without the grab bar hitting your arms. "There are no air conditioners. All fireplaces are gaslit with exception to only three left that are wood burning. They have plans to change those three to gaslit. Only eight parking spots on their property. 7 people capacity in the swimming pool. I was disappointed with their Continental breakfast. I went looking for eggs and the staff pointed me to cold boiled eggs in a mini refrigerator. I noticed muffins, croissants, boxed cereal, and yogurt. The juice was boxed and in the mini refrigerator."

"The Pine Inn is charming and historical, as stated in the property description. However, it is bordering on needing restoration and renovation. There is no elevator and there are three floors with tight stairwells that have short stair treads, making carrying bags awkward. The hallway on the third floor is uneven, leaning severely to the right. This was concerning, especially after having read the notice that the building has not been seismically retrofitted. "For a little under $700 for 2 days, I expected much more. No pool, no coffee maker in room, no water pressure in shower, and I mean none. Just a roof over your head. Would never stay again, and would definitely not recommend!!!"
