Quest Chatswood
10/10 Excellent
"I love staying in Chatswood. The location of Quest on Albert Avenue is central to shopping, eating out and transport. Spotlessly clean, and very pleasant reception staff."
Holiday Inn Express Sydney Macquarie Park by IHG
8/10 Good
"Room was clean and had a modern finish to it. Under cover self parking, short walk to metro station and Macquarie centre. Offered basic breakfast although not a great variety, enough, except for the most picky of people."

Quest Macquarie Park

"Reception staff were very unfriendly. No public relations social skills. No one ever smiled or made you welcome. Staff always looking disengaged and tired."

"We’ve stayed several times now. It’s our go to accommodation when we need to be in this part of the city."
Wildlife Retreat at Taronga
8/10 Good
"I booked Wildlife Retreat at Taronga as a surprise present for my husband. The Wildlife Retreat rate included buffet breakfast, unlimited access to the zoo through a special entrance, a sanctuary walk tour, and parking. The great thing about the parking was that you could leave and park the car several times during your stay, if you get your parking ticket validated at reception. The Wildlife Retreat had several different rooms available; I opted to book the Bushland Room because it was the cheapest. The Bushland Room was located on the ground floor of the premises. The room was a bit small; however, the room did have a roomy bathroom. The bathroom had the usual amenities, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, all in big bottles and then smaller amenities such as a comb, toothbrush and toothpasteetc. . The room also came with tea and coffee, a kettle, robes, there were no slippers available, which I was I knew because I would have brought my own. In our room was a comfortable king-sized bed and the rollaway bed that we requested. The room had a nice view of the Kangaroos; they were in their enclosure outside the room. The buffet breakfast at their restaurant called Me Gal was nice, they had the usual items that you would find at a buffet breakfast, which included a variety of breads, spreads, hot food, fruit, pastries etc. Me Gal restaurant on the premises was nice but expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and the staff were amazing."
