"The floors downstairs were extremely slippery and out dog was hurting herself walking on them. Luckily, we had 5 rigs and some dog blankets with us so she could as be able to move about. The downstairs is all open plan and so nowhere to put the dog (eg the kitchen) without her having access to the lunge and dining areas. The hob was dirty down one side and the control dials numbers were illegible, so it was difficult to set it at the required temperature. The only way to get hot water was to...

"The cottage was lovely and cosy with everything you need for a self catering break. We didn't use the bar or leisure facilities but they were available. "

"The Wizards Chambers is a lovely, unique, clean place to stay. If you are a Harry Potter fan it's a great place to stay. Parking is easy, a folder with all the information you require is at hand and you are right in the centre of beautiful Alnwick. However, we wish we were notified, about the building work next door, so we could decide if we stayed here or not. Work is permitted from 8-5 Mon-Fri and 8-1 on Saturday. "
