"Good location. Quiet. Cleanliness was improved upon request. Owner was unaware on the level of cleanliness provided by local contractors. Improved satisfactorily. Good play area for children. Walk around Derwent reservoir cannot be achieved due to areas of private land. Good birdwatching locations/huts."

"Back garden overgrown and strewn with rubbish and overflowing ashtrays. Not a very clean or safe environment if guests have children or dogs. The boiler pressure meant no hot water on several occasions. House was comfortable, but in need of some maintenance."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cote cottage and it was the perfect size for us. It had everything we wanted. It is slightly remote and peaceful but that's exactly what we wanted, however it's not far to get to local amenities. Check in was a smooth process. There is also free on-site parking for the car which was a must for us. The beds were comfy too. In the end, we were sad to leave. We will definitely look to coming back if we're in the area again!"

"Beautiful Location and Immaculate Cottage! Everything spot on. Just a 5 min walk from the Wedding Venue. Local Spar shop with everything you need (or forgot!). Hosts are easily contactable via email, text or phone. Highly recommend this Cottage. Definately stay again!"
