3. Boho Manor

Monte Rio

"Our room was very clean, I always pull of the sheets back at every hotel and check thoroughly. It’s the cleanest hotel I’ve seen in a long time. The views were gorgeous, we were here during off season so we missed the river amenities but it was gorgeous. Guerneville

My disappointments were: (1) the swimming pool was quite cold, and the jacuzzi was not very hot and had no operative jets, (2) housekeeping did not come clean our room during our 2-night stay, and (3) the room, though lovely, had no real separation of bed...

7. Surrey Resort

Guerneville

"I was very disappointed with our stay. The resort is overpriced for the quality of the facilities and the overall experience. The pool was not clean, and the jacuzzi was not functioning properly—it was essentially just hot water and could not be used as a jacuzzi. The bed sheets did not appear to be clean, and the bathrooms had a very unpleasant odor. Our tent was also located right next to the main entrance used by guests, so we could constantly hear people coming in and out of the resort....
