Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another...

2 great days in Normandy.

Didn’t have breakfast but had a superb evening meal. Sometimes a short menu can ensure quality. Didn’t have time for the golf course but looked beautiful.

Great staff. Stunning location with fantastic sea views from the rooms at the front. Plenty of parking opposite the hotel.

Breakfast is included, so all good there. I was on the top floor when the outside temps were in the low 30s. The room was adequate for me but would have been much better with aircon. For the price I paid, I have no complaints at all. No fridge or aircon but did include towels and tea / coffee making facilities. Perfectly good.

Beautiful building and luxury rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Ideal spot to stay for Normandy Beaches and Museums. Only 3 miles from Arromanch & D Day Landings. We loved this hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such an ideal spot for visiting the sites.

Beautiful place - very clean and comfortable. Probably the most comfortable bed over an 18 night tour. Owner is very helpful and polite - lovely breakfast provided by him. Have stayed here before and came back which is a recommendation in itself. Five stars.

We had a lovely stay. The owners were very nice and helpful and made an extra effort to provide me with gluten-free crepes at breakfast. The rest of the breakfast was also excellent. I would recommend it and will stay there again if I am in the area.

The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints. Amazing, comfortable, immaculate, modern and spacious, an absolute gem within a quiet, historic, picturesque setting with welcoming and friendly hosts. Truly great breakfast featuring local produce. Town, museums and restaurants a short drive away.

Existing reviews have said it all-the condition of the property both in side and out, the grounds, staff and owners are simply exceptional. The chateau is located in a very quiet area providing the most peaceful of settings. Only a 20 minute drive from the ferry port at Caen and near to all the historic beaches, museums, cemeteries making it a more than ideal location. Wonderfully warm place. We were greeted late after a delay to our ferry by the owners with a lovely welcome (including from their gentle dog Hunter). Shown to our fantastic room, pass some amazing photos and artefacts from D-day. Our room was great. A superb blend between a brand new modern bathroom and chic traditional French. A wonderful lodge for the last night in France 🇫🇷 we wish we could have stayed longer. My children loved the little hide away bedroom and the roll top bath. Clemence offered an excellent dinner recommendation at a local craft beer tap room. The food was divine! As was the beer. We would highly recommend this accommodation.
