"Excellent weekender. I stopped in on my drive up to Denmark. I had the attic room, wonderful appointed bathroom, comfortable bed and great view of the garden. Very clean, tidy and quiet. Staff were very friendly as were the locals. It’s a convenient location too, lots of great sites just a short drive away. I would stay again. "

"This is my new favorite hotel in the Netherlands. The staff is very warm and welcoming, my room was ENORMOUS, the setting is a rural village and the hotel is a 19th century hospital conversion. High ceilings and classic architecture. Biggest bonus was a forest walking trail behind the hotel. This place was ideal for me and my dog! Will definitely return!"

"The welcome on arrival was both warm and helpful and during our stay any questions we had were handled helpfully and professionally. The standard room was clean and comfortable and the limited space well used. Next time I will probably book a comfort room. We did not eat at the hotel other than lunch for which there was a menu with plenty of choice. Parking was easy and plentiful. "Me, my husband and my 2 children had great 5days stayed in the market hotel..We booked 2 rooms (602 & 404) The breakfast was nice. ..ambience is perfect..all the staffs are firendly and helpful. The hotel is very comfort and close to the parking lot (forum groningen) where we park our car there. Would love to stay there again next time. "

"Since we didn't know where we were supposed to park our car, we had to walk inside and it was quite confusing during the rush hour at the restaurant. I was not able to find the reception desk so I walked through the hallway with no luck. When I found that it was inside the restaurant, I asked one of the employee about parking our car and she looked away from me. I assume that she wasn't the employee that I needed in the first place. It was quite confusing at the beginning. "
