"Pros: Warm water pools (3 of them), sugar white powdery sandy (absolutely no sea-weed) beach with warm sea water better than the Maldives, Maasai shops next to the hotel and in the village within walking distance, large roofed restaurant with seating on white sandy floor, plenty of beach loungers, friendly restaurant staff Cons: Dated rooms, water leaking from shower to rest of the washroom which they could not repair after multiple attempts"

"Great place but we were there in early June and there was a lot of construction going on everywhere and we might have been the only people in The place. Breakfast definitely leaves something to be desired, it's a good attempt at American or English breakfast but basically it's bread and you can get eggs any way you want. Do you want pancakes you can have honey or chocolate syrup but they don't know what's maple syrup. The food was okay but not exciting and we didn't get out of the hotel much....

The food is terrible, the room is old, and even though it’s an all-inclusive hotel, the minibar in the room was completely empty. "The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you."

"Das Hotel ist neu, und das merkt man hier und da schon. Gewisse Abläufe funktionieren noch nicht so. Das ist aber normal. Der Aufenthalt dort war aber trotzdem super, würde sofort wiederkommen. Super nettes Personal, eine traditionelle Küche, mit internationalem Flair. Der Pool gefiel sehr gut und die Strandnähe war top und wir hatten immer genügend Platz. Super Hotel!"
