We had a good stay overall, but it didn’t feel like a true 5-star experience.
The property is quite dated and could use a refresh, especially the bathroom (older fittings and occasional yellowish water in toilet bowl). That said, the room was spacious and the balcony was a nice touch. We were initially placed in a room with a poor view, but thanks to Made at reception, we were moved to a much better one, which made a big difference.
Breakfast was decent with a fair variety and egg station, but lacked a premium feel. It was surprising not to see sambal readily available, though staff were happy to bring it when asked. Service throughout the stay was warm and welcoming.
The hotel strongly pushes its all-inclusive offering — without it, we felt like we were missing out. Drinks are expensive, and some amenities like paddle boards are restricted unless you’re on the package.
The beach was also disappointing, with visible debris and average water quality. However, the scenic and paved walking path connecting all the beachfront resorts in Nusa Dua were great for walks and jogs and easily accessible to Bali Collection for shopping and nice meals.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service, but not quite at a 5-star standard.
