This is an old property with worn out facilities. The staff is efficient but cold...not rude but not friendly. No complementary light breakfast. Many better places for the same money.

This is my favorite hotel in the area. My only problem is that the rates skyrocket on the weekends. There is no reason to pay 200 dollars a night for a hotel in that area

Room had stained carpet, sagging bed that gave me a backache. The long mirror was taken off the wall but hardware and different wall paint were still there. The breakfast potatoes on the buffet were not heated they were ice cold. Staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Location was good.

The toilet ran constantly the towel racks where coming out of the wall the tub faucet was not secure. We stayed there because of the pool but the pool wasn’t even open but Expedia didnt say that. For the price we paid we should have received a continental breakfast, we had to get the key cards red one 3 times, it snowed and they didn’t put down any salt or cleared the sidewalks,

I paid for the breakfast buffet package only an extra $20 but “the chef didn’t show up” so I had to get the regular continental breakfast. A refund was never offered. For a hotel that was not very busy on Mardi Gras weekend in the St Louis area you think they would try and accommodate and make guests happy. The staff were the only saving grace when I checked in and the two ladies working that morning.

Right off the bat, walking into the hotel, the scent is a bit overwhelming. Some kind of air freshener. Headache inducing. This stay was for our twins upcoming birthday. The main reason kids like hotels is because of the pool. Well, this pool was closed while we were there for painting. I wasnt notified of this. Had i known that would take place, i would have booked somewhere else. I dont appreciate spending how much we did and having a large amenity unavailable. Then, coming down for breakfast we're met with a sign for breakfast costs. I was shocked to say the least. I have never stayed somewhere where the breakfast costs money. Again, with as much as we spent on the room, the fact that bfast isnt included is ridiculous. The options for it were also lacking. Not impressed at all. One of the cleaning staff was around the corner from where we were sitting in the lobby. Im assuming he didn't realize anyone was that close. He stopped to chat with someone for a good 15 minutes and the profanities flew. My kids were with me. I dont appreciate that at all. Extremely unprofessional. Needless to say, we won't be back... and we will probably never book Hilton again.

Our pool is down until February 12 to be painted, we do have this listed on our website and social media but we've been unable to update the information on our third party websites. Breakfast is an option that must be chosen when booking our rooms on Expedia as it's not included in the rate at any Hilton Garden Inn. However, I will be passing on the information regarding the staff member you encountered as that is not our standard of service. The woman at the front desk told me to book online so I did using Expedia, which I told her I was going to do. (I used this app to find a pet-friendly hotel.) As soon as I paid, she asked me how many people were in my party and if I had a pet. I told her the number and said that I had a cat with me. She then gave me a pet policy, which stated that there was a pet fee, to sign. When I asked how much the pet fee was, she told me it was $150, which was more than the price of the room! I told her I was no longer interested in staying here because of the ridiculous price and she said that she would cancel the room, assuring me that I would not be charged since I did not even check in. Needless to say, she lied, they charged me, and Expedia will not give me a refund because the hotel "has a strict policy".

The pet fees for our property for up to 2 animals is 75 per day and up 125 per stay. Our Front Desk agent has been reminded about policy and we do apologize for any inconvenience however you have been refunded as she was unaware as to how to go through the process. You've also spoken to our front desk manager and guest assistance so though we appreciate your feedback you have been taken care of in everyway possible.
