"Our stay at B Ocean resort in Ft. Lauderdale was unfortunately very disappointing from start to finish. Upon arrival, there was no warm welcome or guidance about the property, or surrounding area, leaving us confused about where to find amenities and how things worked. The room itself had several issues. The bathroom water took nearly 15 minutes to warm up, which was extremely inconvenient, the shower head sprayed out of the glass enclosure, causing the floor towels to be soaked and the floor slippery. The outlets were also worn out and would not securely hold plugs, making it difficult to charge devices. There were USB ports that didn’t work even with the “switch” turned on AFTER maintenance came and told us how to use the bedside outlets. One USB port was completely missing. Additionally, the bathroom was not stocked with enough towels to comfortably accommodate the number of adults in our room. The fitness center was another major letdown. It was not clean, several machines were out of order, and the air conditioning was not functioning, making it an uncomfortable and unusable space. The beach, which should have been a highlight, was in poor condition. There were large amounts of garbage scattered throughout, including small pieces of plastic that posed a risk of cutting feet, as well as cigarette butts. This made it neither relaxing nor safe to enjoy. The bathroom, particularly the ladies room, was not maintained for the amount of people that were using them. "

"Amazing and friendly staff in the hotel. The rooms, pool, lobby area very clean and nice. I was under the impression beach chairs and umbrellas for the beach were included, but they were not. The company that the hotel works with for transportation to and from the airport was an addition $35 cash and was 15 minutes late pucking us up from the airport and never showed up to take us to the airport. (I was standing in front of the hotel front desk person when they called and confirmed they would be there the next morning to take us back to the airport)"

"No carpet in room was a plus. Nice pool but we didn't swim. Clean. Very convenient to cruise port with Free shuttle. No restaurant close by. Very small bathroom towels. . "

"Complete review can be found in Google Reviews https://maps.app.goo.gl/VapETZfeBNRp9beG8 Resort: (5 Star) Everything the other 5 star reviews mentioned is ~true; relatively quiet/low traffic area, very nice place, very nice/clean beach/waterfront/Ocean/views/walks, nice free use of beach chairs/umbrellas, and tables outside the breakfast area for great ocean views while eating, nice pool area, but pool didn't seem to be heated well as ocean was warmer, nice sorta clean rooms (our feet were black walking on our room's tile floor after it had been 'cleaned & inspected' before check-in and the white wet towel we used to mop the floor with was black too afterwards), We were on the South side 6th floor w/ a very comfortable King bed & large balcony with a nice view and breezes for the Ocean and Intercostal waterway. Room layout was an "Accessible King Room, Garden View" This one was bit unusual as the shower, sink, & toilet were all in the same large walk-in shower area, so at times it was difficult to keep from getting everything wet. 'Kitchen' area was merely a countertop, decent size compact refrigerator, and small microwave and no sink. I think it had a coffee maker, but with 'standard' mystery coffee packets provided. The complementary coffee outside of the Office was lacking as well. Breakfast was good/hot on weekends, average/cold/starchy on weekdays; but both had good coffee, fruit and nice Bagels. I would probably stay again. Valet Parking: (3-star)"

"The resort is showing its age. Hallways always had garbage next rooms, and needed a good vacuuming. One of the two elevators were out of commission the entire week. Rooms were cleaned every day but could have been cleaner. Staff was very friendly and attentive when needed. "
