Have been coming here for 4 years on a row. Unfortunately this time they give me room that was probably storage room at some point. Bad insulation, first floor. You can hear every single noise. Very disappointing because I love this place. Food is amazing. Pool is nice and beach is the best.

Nice beach, pools are good. Rooms are a little dated, and the villa specifically felt both poorly laid out and just not that clean or well maintained. We spent one night in the hotel and that room was nicer. Overall my family had fun, but I don’t think we’ll be back.

We checked in on Monday evening on 4-13 and the young man at the check-in was rude and short with us. Was not a good start to our stay. This person also happened to be there when we checked out and had the same attitude. Not a good fit for someone in hospitality. The rest of the staff was great and we enjoyed the stay.

The hotel and the amenities were nice and the staff were nice as well. I loved the ambiance of the hotel and the location on the beach and to local spots in the area. The hotel room with the view was really nice and overall the stay was pleasant. My only concern was the condition of the bathroom. It was pretty outdated and not what was expected from the pictures. There was also an issue with hair on the walls of the bathtub and the tub drain slow to drain that was reported a few times. The assistant manager reported he would resolve the issue and adjust the cost of our stay, so I am hoping he keeps his word.

We stayed one night at the Beachcomber. Overall it exceeded our expectations. The location was good, the rooms were clean and the grounds were very nice. Overall the staff was attentive. The only concern that I have is that we were not told about a $45 resort fee when we reserved the room nor when we checked in.

Sibling group of 4 Totally enjoyed our stay here ! They have thought of everything at this resort. From Lemon water on the beach to great hours for every food place there. Ethan was So impressive & took care of us the whole time. He always went above the normal to make sure we were happy. Rooms were partial view but honestly still Amazing views from those. We typically stay on the gulf but wanted a quick trip so we ended up here for a few days. It was Awesome !! Highly recommend 👍

The location is great! The room was big and comfy. Great amenities. Loved the beach and friendly staff. Close to Fort Lauderdale and plenty of wonderful restaurants nearby. Felt very safe to walk out at night. The parking fee was very reasonable compared to other hotels. Would definitely come back .

The building is old. Room was clean and the view was great. Cleaning staff were really friendly and helpful. Checkin staff not so much. Bit cold & not friendly upon checkin & checkout. Parking is $18 a day whether you use valet or self park. Don’t think I would book again.

Very relaxing environment. Pool area and beach great! Pool area service was friendly and timely. Prices are reasonable for food/drinks. This is not a Ritz Carleton, but has a friendly service oriented vibe where everything you’d want for a few days away is at your fingertips.

The property needs a major overhaul, straight out of the sixties; our room smelled and inundated with ants. Climate control in our room was inoperable, and the keycard had to be renewed frequently. Small TV’s with limited channels, slow WiFi, desk only manned by two people during checkout. Not recommended, especially for this price point

Room was clean, view was great! The hotel its self was so cute and smelled really good! Water taxi across the street was cool, walkable to the pier (10-15 min) Fort Lauderdale beach was about a 25 minute drive as well. Would stay again

The pool was very nice. Nice seating etc. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The Tiki Bar at the Deep was very great, very comfortable. Food was ok. Not much of a restaurant sort of all blended into one for lunch and dinner. My room was on the 1st floor overlooking the pool. It smelled really musty. Bad. There was an overturned, belly up copper colored bug about 2 inches long, with a lot of legs overturned near bathroom. Ugh. There was an outside area. Which was great to have being on the ground floor with 2 lounge chairs. The location was excellent with being right on the beach!

Overall, this is a clean and well-run hotel with the exception of my room. The room has been partially remodeled and looks nice while some parts look really outdated, cheap and dirty. There was hair in my sink and tub and mold around the drain that looks like it had been building up for awhile. There’s no way the bathroom had been cleaned before I arrived in my room. If they will cut corners cleaning the bathroom, made me wonder where else they cut corners in cleaning. The food was good, however. We ate at the cafe, the outdoor restaurant and got snacks from the bar while poolside. All great food. Poolside service was promised but nearly non-existent. We had to ask for a server every day. I think maybe they are understaffed. The location is good if you want to be a little out of the busier parts of Ft Lauderdale so I liked that. And there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. Finally, the website states that self-parking is free but the hotel informed us upon arrival that self-parking was the same cost as valet which makes no sense. I’ve never been to a hotel or self parking in valet is the same price. When I mentioned this to the person who checked me in, she didn’t even respond to me and so that’s why I never mentioned the bathroom issue. I felt that she wasn’t gonna be responsive to that issue, they certainly weren’t gonna be responsive to my bathroom issue so I said nothing.

The place is fine. But if you want more than just fine probably stay somewhere else. Clean room but no frills at all. Staff was nice. Coffee downstairs good. That's about it.

Stayed here for a girls’ trip. Food and drink were good, Service and staff attitude were inconsistent. Some were very helpful while others had to be reminded of various requests. The grounds were nice but the website photos made it look better. The pool and rooms were misleading, outdated and disappointing. Very family oriented with lots of kids but TV channels were spotty and no option for streaming. Few shops and options within walking distance for restaurants, bars, etc..

We had a great time. The room was clean and staff was great. Claudia is our absolute favorite. Even when we weren't in the pool area, she always said hi.
