Love this accomodation- clean, friendly, great location and good breakfast food. What’s special about breakfast is the environment is such that people introduce themselves and chat over breakfast- love it.

Lovely hotel right in the middle of town. Very clean with great amenities. Continental breakfast included. Parking is tricky though. Roadside with meters which require payment between 8.30 am and 5 pm.

What a lovely place to stay in Oamaru. We were pleasantly surprised as to how lovely this hotel is. It’s in a great central location and the room was cozy. It was a little noisy in the morning but we expected that with it being right on a main road. Staff were extremely friendly. Would definitely stay again.

I travel to Oamaru a lot and somehow only just found Poshtel on Expedia. Easily the best hotel I’ve stayed in here. The room was spotless, comfortable and full of character, quirky vintage and steampunk touches that actually feel like Oamaru. Everything was clean, well thought out and a real step up from the usual places I stay. Staff were friendly, helpful and made check-in easy. Breakfast was excellent too, proper continental spread with fresh fruit, pastries and local Whitestone cheese. location is perfect: walkable to the historic precinct, Steampunk HQ, cafes and the harbour. Nothing I didn’t like. If you come to Oamaru regularly, skip the usual options and stay here. I’ll be booking it again.
