"Always enjoy staying at Hamton Inns. However, rooms need more lighting as current limited lighting makes it hard to read or use desk areas efficiently."

"We travel a lot and have stayed at many hotels, the staff at this location were the most friendly and helpful we have ever come in contact with. Every staff member greeted us and offered help when it was needed. We were very impressed, I wish all hotel staff were as awesome as they were! The room was clean and the breakfast was good. It’s in a small town which was nice for us. We will absolutely stay here again in the future if we pass through."

"This hotel had a large clean parking lot, friendly staff, water in the lobby, good fresh ground for each cup coffee for breakfast, and a good bed. My only complaint is the bathroom needed a good scrubbing. It was not very clean. Normally that would be a huge drawback for me but everything else was good and the staff was great so I give it a 4/5 overall anyway. I would stay here again, but might just ask for a different room after checking the bathroom next time."

"The beds and hard and uncomfortable to sleep in, towles are rough. Staff looked miserable to work there."

"Been staying at the Trop since the 90’s (when it was the Ramada Express). Usually good room at a decent price, unfortunately for some reason this trip wasn’t good. Ordered 2 Queens, non smoking. Got 1 King Smoking. 30-40 min wait the get on an elevator with a very long line, I believe half the elevators were out of service Ordered a pizza from the hotel and it was completely burnt on the backside. All this in a two hour window! Might have lost a long time customer after this stay."

"The stay was okay. The pool and beach area were very nice but it was very crowded on Sunday, Monday was much better. Main thing I didn’t like that you can smoke in casino everything smells like cigarettes."

"We stay here just because we need a bed. My family is usually on the lake most of the day. The room was clean enough but it had a terrible smell of mildew and cigarettes. Our air also barely worked. We had maintenance come out and clean it but it didn’t help at all. The room just felt muggy the entire time. The last few times I’ve stayed here I’ve had that problem with the air. Overall it was just an okay stay."
