"Safe, Friendly, and Excellent Breakfast – Perfect Solo Stop ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I checked into the California Inn for a single night during a solo road trip. Like many travelers, I was anxious about parking with a car full of personal belongings. However, my worries disappeared when I noticed the visible security cameras covering the property.The customer service here is excellent—the staff members were incredibly pleasant and helpful from check-in to checkout. In the morning, they served a great breakfast that kept me fueled for the next leg of my drive. I also noticed a nice outdoor pool on the property, though my schedule didn't allow time to use it. I would definitely stay here again next time I'm passing through Barstow!"

"This was a far better hotel experience than I expected for the price, especially because the gentleman at the front desk last night was so helpful when I needed assistance. I mentioned that I was struggling to connect my personal device to the TV and he took it upon himself to troubleshoot the problem and personally fix it. The room was also quite nice; very clean and comfortable."

"The room was almost clean. The TV was not working missing dresser. Lights did not work. Underneath the bed was dirty with something piled in there. The furniture was broken. The pool was not available as it was dirty"
