My sister and I loved our stay at the Burgundy Inn. Bill was delightful checking us in and seeing him throughout our stay made us feel like beyond welcome. Our room was perfect.. clean, air conditioned and quaint. Spending our weekend at the Country Calling Festival we did not use the beautiful pool. Every morning had the pleasure of having coffee poolside and chatting with George our barista and aficionado on any subject. We had a perfect weekend!

The staff were super friendly, we have stayed here before and like the location. It's convenient for being close to the boardwalk. The rooms are small and kind of old but is ok since we don't spend much time in the room.Our room looked pretty clean and the bed sheets and towels were fine and refreshed daily but the shower area was a little old and falling apart around the bottom trim. That made it look dirty. We couldn't figure out how to work the TV to turn the volume down as there was only a Roku remote and it didn't have a volume button on it. The pool was still open which was a plus and the free coffee and donuts were an unexpected treat.

The Burgundy is a quaint hotel in a very good area. It is walking distance to the beach and to the boardwalk. The staff were very accessible and the pool and its' bar was a nice surprise.

Was so so frustrated with this property over this weekend with country calling. I had originally booked a 2 king bed room which would have been perfect for 3 people. Once being in the room for 2 minutes we realize that the floor is covered in dirt (did not even look like they cleaned the room before we went in). We ignored that, went to the concert, came back, and the bed sheets had stains on them and there were roaches..literal roaches crawling up the headboard and throughout the pillows. At this point it’s 12-1 am and we contact the office and can’t get through to anyone. After a long day at a concert all we wanted to do was sleep so we ended up sleeping in A CAR. The next morning we went to the office as soon as they opened and they offered us a room across Philadelphia Avenue (the main road in ocean city). Told us the room would be ready in an hour and to go get some breakfast blah blah blah. 3 hours later they hadn’t called so we walked to what was going to be our new room and unlocked the door and found that it had been cleaned for a while (so we sat around for hours for no reason because they said they would call us when it was ready). Never offered to reimburse us for the first night where we didn’t even use the room..nothing. Would not recommend staying at this place at all.

Not great

The only good thing i can really say about this hotel is that it is in a good location. Considering it is a block away from the beach, you would think there would be somewhere to hang Towels, bathing suits, etc. There was not one hook in the entire room. There was one towel rack in the bathroom and that was literally the only place to hang anything. There is no closet or rack, no hangers or pole, nothing. There is no chance of anything ever drying in this room. The room was also very small with the bed jammed into an alcove, no nightstands. The bathroom is very small with a small shower that if you want to turn it on before you get in, the shower head points directly at the shower door. They also charge extra for parking. We were there for a concert and had to pay extra for early check-in, although we were also informed that would not be anyone to check us in after the concert because the front desk staff leaves at 11pm. There was no attempt for anyone to clean our room either. Pretty disappointing all around.

The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. No one told us that our room was across the street, so that would have been helpful. A staff member walked into our room after we checked in, not realizing that we were there, which was uncomfortable. The AC was loud as well and we turned it off in the middle of the night. The room was clean though and had what we needed for our stay for one night. It was walkable to the boardwalk and that was our main goal!

I do not think I have ever had better service in my life. The staff, especially Bill are outstanding and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We had a great experience and will be back. Very walkable to the music festival which is why we were there. It’s an older motel but charming in so many ways.

The staff was extremely kind from the time of arrival to the time of check out. The rooms were a bit older so conditions based upon that for normal wear and tear to be expected. However, from the time we arrived and checked in (around 11pm) the floors of the rooms were FILTHY. You could not walk around without shoes on unless you wanted completely black feet. It did not appear they even attempted to sweep or mop after the previous guests. The window AC unit would only cut on regularly when set to 65 degrees or under. There is no type of ventilation in the bathroom for moisture so there is a very strong mildew smell in the rooms. We went to the pool around 5:30 pm and the water was full of hair and there was an oil film on the top. This was on top of the water being FREEZING. Our friends booked a room for the same time frame we did and had to move rooms due to numerous cockroaches being found in their room and in their bedding. Upon contact with staffing and chatting with other guests we discovered they were not the only guests who were dealing with this issue. Would not book this location again.

This place was a Gem!!! Spotless!!! Easy checkin! Free coffee and donuts a plus. The front desk person Bill was amazing!!! The room was spacious and clean!!! The beds were super comfortable and clean! I would definitely recommend this Inn to anyone!!!

The staff was very friendly. Coffee bar was a great touch with the nicest guy you’ll ever meet operating it. Just stayed one night but would highly recommend it.

Felt welcome. Staff was positive and interacted well with the guests. That alone invites guests back. Room was quaint but comfortable. Who stays in room on vacation anyway?! Boardwalk and adult dining were walking distance. Great spot thats not breaking the bank. Good times! We will return again soon.

Terrible room service, not bad for a quick trip

Room service is a joke. They came at 330 to clean the room the second day, did not come at al the third day. Room itself was clean when first got there. Not bad but room service def needs some work

Let me start with the staff was very welcoming and kind. My husband and I just needed a place to stay for one night. The morning before we left to go home, we wanted to shower, but there was black mold all over the ceiling of the shower. The moisture was so bad the walls were warped. We went to check out that morning and to ask for a refund around 7:20 and not a soul was in the office even though the hours on the office door says they were suppose to be open already. We had to get on the road so we just used the drop slit on the door to return our keys and left. I forgot to get a picture but under the kind sink had a small patch of black mold as well. Everything else was perfectly fine; the pool, the rest of the room, and everything else was okay. But I’m not too comfortable with there being black mold especially with me having asthma. Would probably not stay here again unfortunately.
