"Very clean, two minute to the beach, and very nice pool! Only downside is no wi-fi and you can't hook up a console or streaming device to watch streaming apps. Also wish there was more parking. Thankfully we were always able to get to a spot before it was full but late night goers may struggle. Definitely a nice spot for those who don't care about that stuff and close to the beach."

"The hotel and the room were clean, but we had a constant issue with supply. The pool was out of towels and even after asking for more, we never got them. Lobby restrooms out of paper towels for days on end and when they finally restocked the paper towels, they were out of toilet paper. Housekeeping changed our sheets but did not give us any towels, toilet paper, or garbage bags. Also, the free hot breakfast was sub-par. The eggs were watery and hard at the same time. "Amazing location. Great room. The WORST BED I’ve EVER slept in. After the first night there we had to buy pillows and blanket for the bed. If they upgraded their beds this would be an ideal spot to stay."

"The room was clean and parking was great. We had a great view of the beach from our balcony. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was an issue with them being short-staffed during our stay so we had difficulty securing bedding for the pull out couch as well as enough towels and wash cloths for our large party. "We’ve been coming to OC for 25+ years and have stayed at The Hampton Inn ever since they opened. We always get our preference of a bay room, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We were a little apprehensive with it being a pet friendly hotel but there were no issues. We appreciate the fact that they have already remodeled when the hotel isn’t really that old. Pretty bummed though that the tiki bar has been removed 😔."

"This hotel was great! Nice sized rooms with kitchenette and separate living room area. We were able to cook some meals which was convenient. The staff were friendly and available when needed. I loved the beach and the bar! My only issue was the parking lot was a little tight to maneuver through but no big deal. I would absolutely recommend and will definitely return!"

"Unfortunately the room is damp so our swimsuit never really dried. We arrived at 1pm and our room was ready. Easy walk to the beach!"

"The room was very clean! All of the ammenties worked perfect. The bed was not comfortable, but was a good size (King). The parking lot is small, but we didn’t move our car after check-in so available spots were not a problem for us. Location was great to the beach and not too far of a walk from the boardwalk. I’d recommend staying again!"

"Good value for a short stay in a convenient location just off the beach road. Property is quite dated, but our room was clean, comfortable and quiet. I will mention that the outer entrances were unlocked all day and night, even though there were card reader mounted right next to the doors. The breakfast voucher was great; the restaurant breakfast was excellent and far better than the usual breakfast options in this class of hotel."

"View to both Ocean & Bay were great. Close to Ropewalk is excelled. Bathroom tub was slippery, but other than that, great upgrades & remodel."
