"View is incredible. The bathroom in my room wasn’t the best, it was pretty dingy and the shower was super old. Otherwise, the view was one of the best I’ve ever had and the bed was extremely comfortable. "

"GREAT location without a doubt! 3 floors with an elevator. VERY close to the beach. However, the office closes at 8 pm so if one is going to arrive after that, better notify them ahead of time. Also, there basically is NO breakfast. There is a Keurig coffee maker and 1/4 size mini muffins with nowhere to sit. Unfortunatly the hot water coming out of the shower/tub combo was trickling out, cold water had great pressure. Sink had great hot/cold water pressure. Other than the "breakfast" and hot...

"Seriously good stay. Very pleased with everything and will likely stay here again on future visits to Long Beach. Check-in was a breeze. Breakfast was good; well-maintained and no pressure to rush off (might be different during a full weekend in the summer, though). Room was a good size and clean. Was a little concerned about being on the first floor, not far from the lobby, but it was quiet and we got a good night's sleep."

"Friendly staff and easy quick check in and out. To me, the beach was not close enough to walk to - especially if you are taking chairs and bags of stuff. The strip of stores and restaurants is not close enough to walk to either. The restaurant on the property was OK. I can see it being fun in the summer with lots of picnic tables and adult games to pass the time. Room and bath were clean. Nice shower. Beds were comfy. Hotel is right on the main road, but I didn't hear alot of car...

"Not walkable but the view and the hot tub make it my fave little hotel. Nice little refresh going on at the moment, but the construction wasn’t disruptive. Sadly the nightly rate has gone up too much for me to justify my annual stay here. Lovely hotel if you’re travelling through regardless. Would recommend, but will not likely return due to cost."

"We found a place on the street at 4:30p and could keep car there until 11a next day at no cost. It was perfect for what we needed. Did a pub crawl and didn’t want to drive the hour home. We lucked out that our room was right across hall from bathroom for middle of the night visits. Staff was very friendly and helpful. "

"We loved Salt for our home base while visiting the coast with our 2 dogs, especially having a good restaurant/pub right in the same building -- never had to leave or worry about the dogs!"

"Great place to spend a getaway weekend in late winter. We went clam digging and explored the local area and beaches. Wind in the evening in the pool and hot tub. This was just what we needed. "

"When you book do so close to the time needed or they will charge you 3 times the amount. The place seemed to house homeless. Many were mentally ill. No problems but I didn’t feel safe."

"My kids and I love staying here, it’s our go-to and it’s right on the beach. The staff is so friendly and helpful!"

"Everything was pretty good. I would advise not being late for breakfast. Even showing up at 9:55 a.m. is not advised. Also, the TV situation was a little jinky. There was a guide button, but when you called up the guide on the screen, it just showed the channel numbers, not any show information. I wish they had a smart TV we could connect to a streaming app such as Netflix, Hulu, or Pluto..."

"It was okay overall—bed was a bit lumpy and cleanliness was probably a 3/10. The biggest plus was the location, since it’s within walking distance to a lot. It looks like they’re in the middle of remodeling; we got a side with some newer updates, but it still wasn’t great. For just one night though, it did the job."
