"This is a great little motel! It looks really quaint from the outside, and the cabins were very modern and clean inside. Ours was a little too small for the two of us, but it was efficient and well equipped. The staff at check-in was friendly and helpful, and they even caught us on the way out and returned a phone charger we left in the room. The only clarification I would offer to anyone planning a stay there is that the property really isn't in walking distance to any area attractions. This...

"It’s a very unique old hotel dating back to 1896. The architecture has not been updated but keeps a funky charm. Reused old wood furniture, old tub with an attached shower. Pub on site. Sauna and garden to relax. A pool table and board games. Fire place in the lounge area. Victoria was awesome. Loved it and would stay there again but not like a modern hotel."

"Parking was very limited but mainly because of the tournament during our stay. Breakfast options were good. We did have issues with our sink clogging and toilet not wanting to flush. Rooms have a nice view of the port and Astoria bridge."

A dog barking a couple rooms away annoyed me for hours. Only two pillows and they were less than adequate. Not a lot of room to move around. No small table. Lighting fair. No issues with the tv. The grounds and surrounding scenery are absolutely beautiful, making it a peaceful place to slow down and enjoy the coast. "We got there late at night around 11pm because we were doing a roadtrip coming from afar. Office was closed but staff was inside as expected of a motel there should be a night shift staff assigned. Instead of him welcoming us he just said “Office was closed an hour ago”. So what? You have a motel business even if your guest arrived in the wee hour there’s should always be an available staff to check in unless it was clearly stated in the reservation that there is a time limit for when to check...
