"First of all, in the biggest picture, the room was more than comfortable it was clean and quiet, and the staff was superb. Breakfast was included and it was fine, Protein choices were good and it was well stocked. One complaint. I specifically searched for a hotel with kitchenette and a pool. I wasn't looking to do laps, but wanted to continue my rehab from recent joint replacement surgery, and was REALLY disappointed when we arrived and found the pool was under construction. "Clean room, location to events and easy in and out"

"As soon as we parked and got out our vehicle we was greeted with the stench of sewage. Once we got checked in and made it to our floor the hallways had a moldy smell. For a complex that has been newly built it was in rough shape. The carpet was dirty, the light fixtures was broken, the hot water on the sink was turned off for some reason and parts of the carpet by the tv was ripped. The sofa/ couch appeared to be broken. I wouldnt recommend this particular hotel to anyone. "

"The hotel is nice , room was excellent, they need to improve. A few things, like no hangers in the closet. And breakfast only waffles,, cereals , and apple juice . Is a good idea to improve the breakfast."

"Great staff and Good Location "

"First there was no hot water like warm showers at best. Room wasn’t cleaned properly, still garbage, crumbs on carpet. Had to ask several times over two days to get a fourth bath towel. Maid service only comes every two days. Hotel in a good under from the French quarter. Your better finding a hotel closer and paying the parking fees."

"The staff was definitely the best part of our stay, the rooms were fine, we had no issues but we were hoping for a little more special decor or something to match the extraordinary prices (though we know Jazz Fest means $$$). For the money we could have stayed at many other high end places-the staff was excellent. Not sure I’d make a special point to return but no major complaints."

"Magnificent apartment in an historic building, I loved it. The communication was brilliant and the host bent over backwards to accommodate me. I had a few issues with some mice in the apartment however they moved me to a new one while they sorted out the situation and were extremely accommodating. I would thoroughly recommend."

"Amazing hotel "

"No coffee available for the early risers from the east coast, short staffing, mediocre attitudes. It is what it is. Elevator floors always sticky and dirty, just an obvious lack of effort to be excellent. So, i guess all normal if you want a normal mediocre lodging, knock yourself out."

"A quite location just a few blocks away from all the busy! Breakfast was wonderful and staff was so friendly and wanting to help with everything! The room was spacious and modern and very cozy beds! We will be back! Thank you for being wonderful hosts!"

"The staff is very gracious however the room was TERRIBLE. Very poor lighting. No place to store in packed items. NO STOIN BATHROOM. Closet so dark that I couldn’t find anything. Desk area dysfunctional. Door hinges on furniture broken. Generally a pit"

"Property ok but staff made experience poor. Had very expensive FedEx package sent to me there on weekend and staff received and put in their storage without contacting me or delivering to room even though room # was on it. That caused me real problems having to return back to hotel to get it. There was no apology, no sense of care about the situation, basically blaming me for the problem saying I should have been checking in with them to see if a package arrived. It would have been very easy...

"EVERY front desk associate I interacted with was very professional amd courteous. I arrived way early for my check-in as our cruise ship docked at 8am and the location is only minutes away, though they couldn't accommodate me right then; they checked on me and made sure my stay was comfortable. Meant a lot to me because unfortunately you don't get that as often these days. Great Job Hampton Inn (Convention)"
