But the Martin Inn has changed my mind from the gardens to the room the Martin inn is far above any inn I have stayed at in the past and it is not that far of a walk from downtown Portsmouth. The Martin inn has off street parking in the back as you walk to your room you go through a wonderfully kept garden which made my wife jealous. We had one little leak in our ceiling from the room above us and after bringing it to the front desks attention, we immediately were offered a new room - they could not have been more on top of it and accommodating!
