"Oh my goodness. Absolutely lovely place with everything you need. Washer and dryer, TV with Netflix was easy to use. Big bathtub for soaking along with a large shower. Pretty furnishings in line with the Arrowtown antique aesthetic. Simple to find location in walking distance of Arrowtown Main Street. "Lovely place to stay, right near the centre of Arrowtown. Very well maintained and beautifully clean. The one small thing with my room was a light from behind shone directly through the bathroom window and onto the bed. This was solved by closing the bathroom door, however I don’t like sleeping with doors closed. Would highly recommend Shades of Arrowtown"

"The cottage was roomy and gorgeous. Bed was divine. Kitchenette has basic tools for make a simple meal, although the cafe/bar also offers delicious salads, pizza, and platters. The tasting included in your booking is really wonderful. We enjoyed walking around the vineyards and grounds after everyone left in the evening and seeing the sunset on the hills. We were biking, so it was a convenient starting place to the day."

"Convenient but very limited parking considering we chose this hotel because they had parking. We were going to stay a couple more nights at this hotel the next week and asked them to store our bags until we returned. They would for a per bag per day fee. First time I encountered this in a hotel in NZ. Needless to say, we opted to haul around our extra bags. "
