"I enjoyed my stay here. The place is one of a kind and each room is unique. I was reluctant at first because of the shared bathroom, but I never had issues when I needed to use it. There is also an additional bathroom outside that I didn’t read about or see until my last night. The outdoor hot tub and shower were all placed uniquely in the back of the property amongst nature. The location is super remote and takes some patience trying to find, but you stay here for that reason — off the beaten path. The grounds indoors and out were well maintained. The artwork at the entrance and books inside are provocative and edgy which matches the vibe of the place. The kitchen, dining area, living room and patio were spacious enough for those who want to be alone. Locks are provided on every room door for security. There is a house cat that lurked around. Not a fan, an allergic, but that was minor compared to the beauty of the place. Complimentary snacks are provided in the room, however some water in the kitchen for guests would have been good. "We had a wonderful stay at the Volcano Forest Inn. The large room, access to the full kitchen/common area, the quiet location surrounded by the rainforest, and the private deck allowed us to enjoy a relaxing visit. The inn has a great location just outside the national park. We were able to stop at several places before they became busy. There was a good amount of information on the area and a tv with current info on the volcano. The rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was a great visit that I strongly recommend. "
