"The Lodge itself was impeccably clean. The dining experience was great. Our room was perfect right down to the heated towel bar. The volcano area lookouts were nearby thus not having to travel very far. The staff were very helpful in all aspects. Would definitely recommend this Lodge."

"We needed a place near volcano park and this property filled the bill. I really should have read the information provided by the host to understand the self-check in process. (Multiple messages from all our stays overwhelmed me) Once we squared that away, we found dinner and brought it back to the room and settled in. The night sounds in the forest were great. My only suggestion is the steps be lit up for arrivals after dark."

"Pleasant stay. we spent the day at the Volcano Natl Park which is only 7 minutes away. had dinner in town, checked in about 5pm. when you drive onto the property you feel like you are in the middle of the rain forrest. really appreciated the tasty banana bread, snacks, and fruit that was left out. our room had a hot tub, which we didnt use. the matress was comfy. very quiet surrondings."

"We adored the little rainbow falls rainforest cabin. We have been travelling for about two weeks and it was time for a short retreat before continuing our adventure in the Hawaiian islands. Luckily for us, the volcano erupted, and we got to sit on the front porch listening to the rumble in the distance after having seen the start of the eruption that morning at the rim restaurant before they evacuated everyone."

Major concern: No window coverings for the floor-to-ceiling bathtub window or windows above the bed and coffee bar, resulting in serious privacy issues while bathing and sleeping. "We had an enjoyable stay, we were received by Kelly with fresh delicious muffins, the house was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, each day was a different menu with fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit, juice, coffee or late and attention to detail. The staff is nice enough, but the property being open to the public, no hotel grade doors on the rooms (they were closet doors with no deadbolt), and no AC on a hot night is not acceptable. "Not Worth it, Price Like 4-5 hotel. It Like motel. .Very noisy during the day and night, people are passing your corridor to go to lobby and dragged their luggages . NO elevator, I need to carry All luggages to level 1 downstairs. Staffs helpful and friendly. I booke d for 4 adults. bed like queen but a bit small. Shouldn’t be for for 4 adults. No kettle and you need to pick up all glass, tea and coffee in receptions., bring your own water bottle as well. "
