The room was clean, the gentleman communicated clearly, very helpful. The beds, however, were soft. The room had everything you'd need if you wanted to eat in. And the restaurant downstairs is awesome!

Because it is located right in the center of town, it was very convenient. The farmers market and KTA Super Stores were only a 1–3 minute walk away. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we didn’t notice any noise from the neighboring rooms or outside. The breakfast restaurant on the first floor is very popular, and the owner, Paul, was incredibly kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay at Hilo Town Inn again next time and look forward to having breakfast at Paul’s restaurant!

I like the place, clean and very convenient location. I enjoy my morning going to Farmers market which is 2 minutes away. The only inconvenience was the parking which is at the back of the building and it was very muddy. I hope they will fix it or put more gravel. I will book the place again.

We liked the room and liked the location - just steps to the Farmer's Market. This is more of a note to Expedia than to the Hilo Downtown Inn. This is the second place we have rented through Expedia that didn't tell us we'd need to negotiate stairs. My wife has trouble navigating stairs. I think the property and Expedia have an ethical and perhaps legal obligation to inform potential renters about the stairs.
