"We stumbled across this retreat almost by accident and it was the highlight of our trip to Greece. We’ve traveled the entire country and seen the most amazing places but the Ambelona Retreat is in its a class of its own. From the amazing service from our host George, to the phenomenal views and architecture, this place can only be described as magical. We will 100% be back and I can’t wait. Thank you!!"

"Hotel and the room were very clean. The bed and pillow were very comfortable. Our room had a lovely balcony with nice views. We were a bit disappointed that there was no restaurant or tea and coffee facilities but the receptionist very kindly made us a pot of tea."

"The Aso hotel has been beautifully restored using its history as a raison storage in its design. Many antique items rescued from the building have been restored and displayed in the hotel. Only opened for about a month, the decor and attention to detail is amazing. The rooms are thoughtfully kitted out with lovely personal touches and gifts for the guests. "Beautiful mountain hotel very modern and kept very clean. There is a nice scent in the common areas. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He carried my luggage’s upstairs. They have a great buffet breakfast included in price of the room and nice restaurant with the Mountain View. There is a in ground pool . Excellent place to stay in you are planning to go to Olympia. We highly recommend this hotel."

"The property was like our own little piece of paradise, and the staff treated us like VIP''s and went out of their way to make our stay special. Property was close enough to Kalamata for day trips without hanging to stay in the hustle and bustle. Food was excellent!! I cannot say enough good things about this resort, especially Elina and Angel. Miss them both already!"

"We stayed for four nights. The view is amazing, the staff were friendly and welcoming and the grounds are nice. However, it seems like the property is being redone or there is a new owner and it is not fully operational yet. This place says it is 5 stars but it frankly isn’t. It does not have the amenities or service to claim being five stars. We were upgraded on arrival which was a nice surprise and made the stay better value. When we checked in we were told the bar was not operational....
