"The hotel itself and the grounds were beautiful and immaculate. The set up is odd with a hotel inside a hotel. We did have a hard time finding it since the name was only on one side door.
The pool is on the smaller side with both hotels using it. The conference area and the exercise room seemed more than adequate for travelers.
Our room was spotless and I must say the beds were some of the most comfortable I've had the pleasure of sleeping on. Bedding was that of a top brand hotel. Crisp and clean.
That was the good. Now for the not so good. Finding someone at the front desk was nearly impossible. There was a gentleman there to check us in. And we managed to find him there again the first night when we asked about the coffee in the lobby. After that you only heard crickets. Although staff did a amazing job cleaning they never checked to see if anything needed refilled or resupplied. The complimentary shampoo and body wash containers inside the very nice shower were empty. We had one tiny bar of soap for 4 people and only two full sized towels and one wash cloth. We were out in the city during morning housekeeping and altho a note was left nothing was filled. The refrigerator also did not work. A hot breakfast was served until 9am but getting there at 8:25 everything was empty except 3 biscuits and a few tiny muffins. Never filled even though the food service saw us there well within the breakfast time range. Not even waffle mix or milk for cereal. Sad."
