"Wonderful staff with exceptional hosts, thank you"

"We had a long drive to our stay at Tower Road and when we called to say we were going to be a later check-in our host was very accommodating and told us not to worry at all. When we arrived he gave us a very warm welcome. Loved the room; we wished we had a longer stay! I would highly recommend a stay here and we look forward to returning!"

"The owners were very nice. The suite was very comfortable. A small continental breakfast was included and there were other amenities available. The location was fantastic. Only 15 minutes max from Hobbiton, which was the main reason we stayed in the area. View was beautiful."

"very convenient location, great size rooms well laid out."

"Lovely helpful reception. Dog friendly. Lovely peaceful place to stay."

"All 5 of us were very comfortable in our booked accommodation"

"Had an amazing stay at this beautiful hotel. Wonderful staff, service, food, drinks and facilities. Loved the jazz band in the Speakeasy Bar. Will stay again. Thank you for making our wedding anniversary so special."

"Spacious, clean room with heating. Comfortable bed. Quiet and relatively close to the main town."

"Stunning Property. Beautiful location and gardens. Sue is an excellent host. Great breakfast and excellent coffee."

"Wish we had read the reviews. We probably wouldn't have booked. Definitely not value for money. No real amenities, not even a bar of soap in our ensuite room. No tv, pretty much a bed and towels. Water was lukewarm in shower and we were worried it was going to flood until hubby used his foot as a plunger for drain . Pub music only played till 11pm thank goodness."

"Fantastic place to stay. The bed was a little hard for our liking but hey that’s the beauty and unknowns when staying else where. Super clean and convenient. Excellent hosts and great breakfast collection. We will def be back "

"Location was close to the football field for my son's tournament. Also easy to check in and out."

"Clean nice spacious but I’d have to say quality accommodation is a bit of a stretch. Everything feels a little bit budget."

"Great location"

"Good stay for a budget hotel. Lots to use in the kitchen."

"Clean stay but not great for overseas travellers who need bedding provided. We had no idea that bedding wouldn’t be included and needed to “upgrade” to a smaller room with fewer beds but had blankets."
