"We arrived late after 8 hours on the road to no one in the office. We called multiple times, rang the bell, and even just waited quietly. After 15 minutes with no help, I called the national office, which also attempted to get in touch with hotel staff. They even called management's emergency line and could not get in touch with anyone. We waited over an hour without getting any help.
Eventually the staff member returned and said the manager had asked her to get a head start on laundry. She was apologetic, but being gone from the front desk with no call forwarding and without returning to check seems like bad practice, and the manager never answered the emergency line. Something is not right here.
