"Everything is clean and the staff is amazing. We stay in a lot of hotels and travel a lot, and the staff at the Hampton Inn in Gilroy is really one of the best. However, their breakfast are awful. Again the staff does their best, but the food quality is really bad. Also, we had a seven day stay and we needed to request housekeeping. And most of the hotels where we stay if you’re over three days, you automatically get a housekeeping. I think they should rethink that policy because it’s kind of...

"The staff member had trouble working the iPad, couldn’t take our room deposit, had to call the owners multiple times, and multiple people kept coming to the desk asking for more towels, soap, and if they could extend their stay. Come to find out, motel 6 operates as a homeless shelter. We tried to cancel but the staff member couldn’t “figure it out.” Stay away from this place if you are a just traveling. The staff member said there are a lot of unsheltered living under the bridge nearby as well....

"The outside of the hotel isn't overly appealing, but once inside the hotel was clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. The room was standard fair, but the bed was comfortable and the pillows as well. Much quieter than I thought it would be, but a bit noisy with the slamming doors from time to time. Breakfast was actually really good, not covered by my Hilton Gold Status, but I could apply a $10 credit for a la carte food. I would recommend this place as an overnight place to crash."

"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. The facility itself is clean and well-maintained, and the location was perfect for where I needed to be. However, the biggest downside was the noise. The walls seem very thin (or possibly poorly insulated), and as a light sleeper, this made it difficult to get a good night’s rest. I was woken up multiple times—once by a child running down the hallway, and other times by noise from the room above, including the sound of the shower...

"This motel is in very poor condition. It is run down, scuffed up, looks dirty. Check in is brief to an employee behind a window. Easy parking in front of your room. No real amenities. Thin walls - could hear the tv from next room so couldn't sleep. Towels and bedding are rough basics. Needed a hair dryer - an employee came to our room and installed one on the wall (that was nice of her). They said no one had ever asked for one in our room. It was safe but I felt uncomfortable in this...
