"Location and property grounds are great. Standard king room, bathroom small, only one person at a time, with single sink, and very poor lighting. No vanity area outside of bathroom or even an electrical outlet so one person could dry hair and do makeup while other uses shower. Air conditioning units in room are very old and loud. We had to change rooms after the first night because it kept us awake. Reported next morning & no one checked til late afternoon, told us bearing broken, so they...

"This place has everything you need. Ocean, pool, hot tub, pool bar, room kitchenette. Right next to stores and a big ABC market. It’s the best. The grounds are amazing. Emaculate. Hundreds of local plants, many labeled so you might learn something. The rooms are not renovated, but they’re clean and comfortable. It’s kind of like staying in Baja. I would say don’t renovate if that would mean the prices would go up. But I’d consider getting rid of the cheesy beach art. I love the actual photos...

"Love staying at Kauai Shores. Great location to explore all parts of the island and conveniently located near many restaurants. Friendly staff. Renovated rooms with great AC (much appreciated after coming from a week at an expensive airbb in princeville where the ac sucked) Lava Lava beach club on property gave something to look forward to in the evenings with the live music every night. Definitely recommend."
