"Difficult to find your way in from the underground parking. We were told to look for “yellow”, but there were no directional arrows or signage over the entrance door. On our way out to dinner, two vehicles stopped us in the underground lot to ask us how to get in to the hotel. Reception later told me “it’s only hard the first time you come here”.
Rooms are very large and clean; mattress is comfortable. That’s all I need when I stay at a hotel!"

"This is a good stay in worst location possible . We though it is near down town but when we got there . it was actually close to the homeless hubs .All around us we were surrounded by hundreds of homeless and addicted people . We were not comfortable to come out of the hotel even before night . the area did not felt safe ."

One thing the hotel could change would be to allow you to eat breakfast when you want rather than having sittings at 0800 and 0900. I was on business, so would have appreciated an earlier breakfast option and to heat at in-between times.
However, the area near the hotel feels ropey, in particularly towards Rideau. Whilst walking towards my meeting opposite the senate...

"We really enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent, with easy access to the Rideau Canal and nearby bike paths. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our visit. Our room, which included a kitchenette, was spacious. Having a full-size refrigerator and freezer was a great convenience. Another highlight was that Parliament Hill was only a pleasant 15-20 minute walk away, making it easy to explore the city."

"This was our first time going to Ottawa, the Sheraton was like a good location for a reasonable price. We got a room on the 11th floor, unfortunately our view was of a high-rise office building with floor to ceiling windows.
The room was nice enough, very good sized and the bed was comfortable. The carpet did not look the cleanest, and the bathroom was quite basic for almost $200 a night.
