"Not much around the area, nice place and very friendly."

"Well-appointed cottage that was once a stable block. Very nicely renovated with all the essentials that you need in a vacation home. Welcome pack (including a small bottle of milk!). Comfortable bed. Wood burning stove plus electric heaters. Set on its own behind the main house, it is visited by sheep grazing on common land and deer coming down to visit. Beautiful part of the country and well recommended for those wanting tranquility and calm (no tv!). "

"Super welcoming, easy to find, great location, bed comfortable, black put curtains. Sink in our room- we booked the room with 1 queen and two twins. Was perfect for a family of 4."

"Stunning location and room was immaculately clean. We ate at the pub next door which is the same owner as the hotel, food was excellent. The only small criticism (and it didn’t really bother us because it was only a one night stay) is that there only seemed to be two channels we could get on Tv and no WiFi connection in room , so we couldn’t access Netflix "

"Scourie Lodge is pleasant, clean, well-appointed and has great amenities like both a large tub and a separate shower in our room. It is run by a lovely young couple and pleasant staff. I would definitely come back!"

"The guesthouse and the host, Brian, were great. Due to a booking error, I was able to book the accommodation even though they were closed. Brian still gave us a warm welcome and upgraded our room free of charge. He gave us tips for a good restaurant and even made a reservation for us! The breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared. We would definitely recommend this hostel; it was simply fantastic!"
