"Character property with plenty of parking space, not far to walk to town. I stayed in a single room (which had a double bed) and a larger double room which also had larger bathroom and little extras in comparison. Can't fault the property, it was clean with good quality bedding and towels, and the fixtures and fittings new and of high standard. The beds were very comfortable and you couldnt hear the other guests in their rooms so managed to have a peaceful stay."

"Stayed here for one night (24/4/26). It was good value for money as far as I’m concerned. The Greyfriars Lodge is very old but it’s clean. We were very happy with the location. 10 min walk from Canterbury East Station. 4 min walk to Marlowe Theatre the main reason we came to Canterbury. 4 min walk to Butter Market and the Cathedral. The room we had was spacious and the staff very welcoming (Sanjeewa). If you’re looking for modern place to stay then this Lodge isn’t for you. We like to support...

"The place feels more like a halfway house than a hotel. No shampoo or soap in the bathroom, room is tiny, bed is absolutely awful. Check on was basic and the whole thing feels poorly handled. Stay elsewhere if you can, the only plus is it’s near the station, but yeah, it’s a dump. "
