This is a new hotel, it was clean and in a brilliant location. The staff however are not at all helpful and very much not prepared to help guests.
I went to check in at the self check in, this was impossible and I hit call a staff member 3 times before I got irritated and went over to the bar where 3 staff members were stood chatting. Out of them only 1 knew what they were doing. There was no welcome drink offered which is what I have previously when I stayed at Moxy hotels. I was asked if I actually needed the sofa bed set up. I checked in for 3 guests, 2 adults and a child who is 6 which the hotel knew prior to me checking in, yet the hotel was only prepared for 2 guests. After asking twice at check in I got to my room to have no sofa bed set up despite them telling me they had sorted it. The room was clean and nicely laid out. The amenities are great and the loft bed was extremely spacious and comfy. The sofa bed (once actually made up) was rock hard and impossible to get comfortable on. To the point my other half ended up having a terrible nights sleep as my daughter slept in the loft bed with me.
In the lobby the escalator going down was not working, I am not the biggest fan of escalators to start with and the steps are deep and it’s a steep decline especially for my daughter with little legs, this is not at all safe and should be rectified immediately!
Also there was no breakfast despite being given the option upon booking.
