"We stayed at this property on our way to and from Machu Picchu, and it was an excellent choice. The hotel offers stunning views of the Ollantaytambo ruins, making the stay even more memorable. The location is one of the best in Ollantaytambo, with plenty of great restaurants within walking distance. Taxis and tuk-tuks are readily available, and the train station is just a 7-minute walk away or a quick tuk-tuk ride. The staff were warm and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was generous, and they even packed breakfast for us because we had an early train to catch, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, this hotel offers outstanding value for money and is a great base for anyone visiting Machu Picchu."

Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley

"I had an excellent stay at Hotel Tierra Inka Sacred Valley in Ollantaytambo. The property is beautiful, surrounded by mountains and colorful flowers, and was spotless throughout our stay. Although the streets outside are a bit run-down, the hotel feels like a peaceful oasis. Waking up to the sound of roosters each morning made the experience even more authentic. It's also conveniently located about 8–10 minutes from town, with convenience stores nearby, and the staff was always happy to arrange a taxi or tuk-tuk to town or the train station for Machu Picchu. The room was very comfortable, and every staff member was friendly and professional. Even before our trip, the owner was incredibly helpful, answering my questions and accommodating my requests online. A special thank you to Ms. Wara, who truly made our stay exceptional. She was warm, welcoming, always available to help, answered every question, and handled every request quickly and with genuine care. Breakfast was fantastic, with fresh orange juice, eggs from hens raised on the property, and avocados from their garden. One morning my wife and daughter woke up feeling sick, and Wara and the breakfast cook picked fresh muña leaves from the garden to make them tea. It worked wonders. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!"

Sol Ollantay Exclusive Hotel

"The location of this hotel is right in the center of town. Three minute walk to the ruins, five minute walk to the train station, and five minutes to anywhere else you would want to go. The hotel was clean and basic. Because it's in the middle of town there is a lot of noise. If you are a light sleeper I would recommend a room not with a view of the ruins. The windows and doors to the patio do not block much noise."

"Not too luxurious but not too simple, very cute and quaint property. Excellent base for exploring the surrounding area, or you can simply spend the day relaxing in the lovely courtyard while gazing at the magnificent mountains right in front. Staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. Many thanks to Jorge and his family."

"O hotel tem uma vista incrível, ao lado do rio. As comodidades são simples, porém bem decoradas, como se fossem a casa de uma mãe ou avó. Tudo bem limpo e bem cuidado. Eu com toda certeza voltaria e recomendaria aos meus amigos. O Renato que nos atendeu é uma pessoa maravilhosa, nos ajudou muito com os passeios e sobre a cultura inca."
