"This was a lovely boutique hotel with a beautiful view of the river and the mountains. Very accommodating staff with a nice breakfast and good information about the town and tour options. The manager took me on a private tour of the Sacred Valley and also woke up extra early to make me breakfast before my Machu Picchu visit. There was no heat in the room but there were plenty of warm blankets to keep you comfortable. I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler and would highly recommend...

"I took a group of 8 students to K and we all agreed that it was one of the most unique places we’ve stayed. It is situated right at the edge of the Ollantaytambo ruins, which you can see from some of the rooms and balcony. "We stayed here two nights. This is definitely rustic, so be prepared for that. That being said, you should definitely stay here. The ladies that work here are very nice, and when we were there, they were in the midst of wrapping 50 presents to take to the highlands to kids that live in small communities.
